Nadeem Khan got his Master's degree in mass communication from the University of Karachi in 1996. Even before his degree in mass communication, Nadeem Khan was a constant contributor to the print media in Pakistan. He wrote articles and was part of the editorial team for the daily "Shabaz" Peshawar, a bi-lingual (Pashto and Urdu) newspaper with a democratic and progressive editorial policy. As an intern in the local print media outlets, Nadeem Khan, by his professional and incisive journalistic orientation, impressed his seniors and mentors in the field.
Nadeem Khan is a prolific writer in Pashto, Urdu, and English on the world wide web. He maintains his own blog deemajan.wordpress.com and writes on current social and political issues in the Afghanistan and Pakistan region.
Nadeem Khan has got an in-depth understanding of the socio-political landscape of the central asian region by virtue of his educational and living background in these countries. He has very good command on spoken and written Russian language because of his student background in the Ukraine.
Currently, engaged with AVT Khyber TV and Pakistan television channesl in Peshawar and contributes to programming on news and current affairs; and other social issues programs.
Nadeem Khan is also conducting current affairs programs in Radio Pakistan, Peshawar station in the Pashto section.
Additionally, Nadeem Khan is the senior editor of the monthly Pashto journal, "Leekwal", which has an internet edition also.
Nadeem Khan has widely travelled in the former Soviet Union regions and Afghanistan and was born and raised in the Malakand-Swat region of Pakistan. He can speak and write Pashto, Urdu, English, and Russian and has basic understanding of Dari languages.
